Beijing United Informantion Technology Co., Ltd (IBI) was Invited to Participate in the Global Digital Economy Conference 2024 and Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Pakistani Company Michael & Parker
On July 3, the Global Digital Economy Conference 2024 and the Eurasian China-Pakistan Digital Economy Cooperation Forum was held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing. Danyal, Vice President and General Manager of Cross-border E-commerce Department of TDD, and Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Minister of Information Technology and Telecommunication of Pakistan, and other leaders of Chinese and Pakistani government and enterprises attended the meeting, during which TDD signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Michael & Parker, a Pakistan company.
At the symposium, the leaders exchanged views on Pakistan's development history, business environment, and future opportunities. Danyal, Vice President and General Manager of Cross-border E-commerce Department of TDD, introduced the specific situation of TDD, and pointed out that Pakistan is the key direction of TDD's cross-border business, and he is glad to see that Pakistan government and the enterprises also have the same consensus. In the next step, TDD will give full play to its mature resources and digital technology advantages in the digital economy to help more enterprises of China and Pakistan to go overseas and implement cross-border business, reduce costs and increase efficiency for its platform customers, and empower the industry.
Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja highly recognized TDD's strategic vision and implementation practice at Pakistan, and identified several areas of cooperation in the future for the two parties. She stated: “The Pakistan government encourages Pakistan enterprises to make full use of the opportunities to play a role in the development and prosperity of the Belt and Road development, and will launch special economic zones and industrial parks as soon as possible to provide a sound business environment and strong support for enterprises. And TDD's achievements in the practice of industrial digitalization are worthy of affirmation, and we hope to jointly build an international 'one-stop' full-chain service for various industries in Pakistan with TDD's rich operational experience and Pakistan's resource advantages, and plan to actively promote the specific implementation of cross-border platforms and digital upgrading businesses in the future cooperation.”
Based on this cooperation, China and Pakistan will jointly promote the development of cross-border e-commerce trade in accordance with the content of the strategic cooperation agreement and the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, give full play to TDD's own advantages, and promote the rapid development of Pakistan enterprises.
